Astronomy Observing Evening

As we are busy with preparations for our new place in Luton, this post is published a bit later than usual. On the evening of January 18th, we went to the Luton Astronomical Society where we spent a wonderful time. Thank you, Max, Alex, Matas, Andrew, and their parents, for coming. It was a fresh, cold night. I was happy to see the four kids, who had missed each other, reunite. They played an enjoyable game of hide and seek under the sole light of a red torch provided by the people from the Luton Astronomical Society (LAS), and the beautiful moonlight.

Below, you can find pictures taken by our new staff member, Marius. He will also be assisting me with robotics classes - more information on that soon.

Marius used his mobile phone to capture an image of the lovely moon through the telescope.

The silly/creepy :) picture was taken by me. It’s definitely not a photo of alien life on the moon taken by Marius!

Once again, thank you all for coming. I look forward to seeing you soon and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Renni Kolev, I’ll see you next time.
